Is there any place online i can buy for cheap and how should i put it in to my racquet?

My racquet is the Ti.S6 and it's about 8.3 oz.... It's way too light and had way too much power.... I don't know if adding this tape at 3' o'clock and 9' o'clock would be a good idea?

  1. You can buy lead tape from tennis warehouse for less than 5 dollars. Also at tennis warehouse they'll tell you how to apply lead tape and the benefits of it. Adding the tape at 3 and 9 o'clock will increase the stability of your racquet which helps with control.

  2. If you want your racket to be heavier, weighing at 8.3 ounces you would have to buy around 10-15 bucks worth of lead tape.  There is going to be no room on your racket to put on that much tape.  You're better off buying another racket that is at least 10.5 ounces and above.

But, if you really do want to do that, buy the lead tape and restring your racket at the highest tension possible.  This will decrease your power and increase your control.

If it has way too much power, you cannot do anything about that.  In fact, adding lead tape will increase its power.  Buy a heavy, (10.5 ounces+) midsize/midplus racket, and its power level 1000 and below

  3. www.tennis-warehouse.com

will have lead tape, and will tell you how to apply it/benefits.

one thing to keep in mind: adding lead to the 3 & 9 o'clock positions will make your stick head-heavy.  you may have to put some in the handle too so that your racquet stays head-light/even balanced. once again, instructions are at TW.
