I am going to use the bike mostly for off road biking (trails) down hills, uphills, etc. The associate at the Sporting goods store wasn't too experience at this stuff. Help!

  1. Full Suspension and Dual Suspension are the same thing.

If your trails are mostly smooth, perhaps with some buried boulders and rain ruts, you'll want a HARDTAIL bike, probably somewhere in the $400 to $600 range.

Full suspension bikes are generally very bad for climbing.

  2. Welcome, wing nut.

  3. f-s and d-s are the samething
