I want to buy a new settee but...........?

The settee I have now is a three seater and it's too big to get out of door and even window. I live alone, so I have nobody to help me. Is there anyway I can dismantle it?

At the time when I first got this settee it was ok to get in, but now my home has just been double glazed throughout and the doorway is narrower.

If you can turn it over and remove the underside fabric, you can sometimes find the bolts which hold the arms on (which can be undone). The arms then pull away from the main body.

When you buy your new one the guys will figure out how to get the old one out, just make sure to say to the salesman will you take the old one.

You can take the double glazing unit out.

We have done this loads of time & it works,  just be careful tho
