  1. Well you can buy samurai swords at some specialty stores..so I don't think they're illegal.

  2. As long as you don't carry it around and assualt people with it it should be alright. Depends on how big and sharp it is.

  3. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!

    Nerd.

I guess if you buy it and keep it hidden in your mom's basement to fantasize about it, it's no problem.

  4. Joe C is not too smart and up on the history of swords, but there is NO such thing as a "ninja" sword. It is a product of fantasy. The ninjas used the exact type of sword the samurai used. There was no specific ninja sword like you see in the stores. The straight bladed fantasy weapon that is easily available did not exist.

To answer your question though, yes, it is legal.

  5. The real ones are made in Seki, Gifu prefecture, in Japan, and the cheapest cost about $30,000 dollars to make.  Because there isn't much of a market any more for real swords, Seki has switched to making fine cutlery, though you can still probably order one, or even go see them making it.    For a lot less, you can buy a fake one, but that isn't what they used, and your opponent may well break it over his knee, then beat the living c**p out of you.

  6. As long as you keep it in the house you will probably be OK.

If you are taking it to/from class, in most states it has to be in a carrying case.

Must be nice to have all that money!

  7. as I know, so far as long as you don't carry it in streeet or public places, there is no problem.

And you may check at http://www.handmadesword.com

    a good website for swords.
