I want to buy a tom tom ,which one has street level mapping of europe ??

wanting to travel to france by car ,i need to know which tom tom has street level mapping of france .I hear there is major road maps of europe and also street level mappping ,thanks

Tom Tom is just the name of the navigator itself.

You can get every map that you want, just buy the right map.

Tom tom 300 only holds 1 country at a time but the 500 holds the whole of Europe at street level. :) They newer ones are supposed to have better navigation systems too.

(ANS) Actually first of all let me say that Tom Tom SatNav's are extremely good I can highly recommend them to you. NOTE:- ALL models are fully capable of street level mapping.

**Street level mapping is provided by the kind (area or region or country) of the map you buy. There is a very comprehensive selection of different maps you can choose from.

**Most new Tom Tom devices come with either a map installed inside the machine such as the Tom Tom One XL which can be updated or changed over the internet or the map you have comes on a small SD card that is only about the size of a postage stamp, this SD card fits inside a slot in the machine.

**I have a Tom Tom One (original & basic) design it came with a map of UK & Northern Ireland but its easy to buy new maps from the Tom Tom website.

**You can definitely buy maps of Europe including France too.
