I want to buy a used Rainbow vacuum but don't know which series?

I'm looking at various online retailers for refurbished Rainbow vacuum systems, however none seem to explain the differences between the various models. Are there any major differences? Do any seem to perform better to offset the cost difference of the newer models?

Thanks in advance and please don't bother to respond with other vacuum brands- not interested!
