I want to buy a van that requires repair.Does anybody know some good auction?

Buy one from a federal, state, or city auction.  They are the original owners and you can talk to the maintenance/ service people on the phone about vehicle history.  I've purchased several from various auction websites like gsa auction.   Vans are the cheapest.  Look for those small school buses as well.

Police auctions and those held by towing yards are pretty good. If you don't know where any are located near you, you should get a list that tells you about car auction sites in your city.
