Turkey is the place I want to by in. I believe budget airlines have already started to suffer which means major airlines would have no competition therefore charging top prices.

It has always been my dream to buy abroad. I,m worried that in the long term it could be a waste if air fares prevent me from enjoying it.

  1. Depends on how often you intend to be flying back and forth. Buying your return ticket from Turkey will probably be cheaper than buying it here in the UK. So just get a one way first then get your return when you are there. Also try and travel with a cheaper airline like India not the big name companies.

  2. You need to get things into perspective.....yes fares may go up, but in real terms they are still cheaper then they were say twenty years ago....so I wouldn't let that put me off....depending on where your airport is in UK....it may still cost you more to drive to the airport than fly to Turkey.
