I want to buy an iphone but i heard that when the 2nd gen iphone comes out the old one will drop in price.?

i live in canada so should i wait for the 2nd iphone to come out so that the price of the 1st iphone drops. will the price even drop? does anybody know info about iphone pricing. supposibly when it comes it out sometime in june apple will want to get rid of the old iphone so they will cut the prices to 299 for the 8gb. i need help what should i do.

  1. That is correct. You will be able to get the first gen Iphone at a reduced price from retailers. You will also be able to find cheap used phones as some people might be replacing their first gen phones with the second gen phones
