I want to buy an ipod but i have some questions regarding downloading music...?

1. if i dont want to use itunes or limewire what other program can i use?

2. can i use ares instead?

3.do i still have to download itunes?

1. If you don't want to use limewire or itunes there are plenty alernatives you could use to download music, such as BEARSHARE. However if your going to download BEARSHARE you would have to down load the old version.--------------------------------...

3. yes you do. In order for your downloads to be synced to your ipod you MUST HAVE itunes

1. u can get music from anywhere even CD's and put it on ur Ipod

3. if u want to add anything ( music, videos, pictres, etc) onto ur ipod or even update it u need itunes
