I want to buy every episode of death note ever released (i think it's 37) is that possible?

also don't reccomend manga i'm only interested in the anime also are they called volumes right and how many volumes make up all 37 episodes

The show hasn't been completely released yet in the US on DVD so you'll have to wait.  Volumes 1-5 have already been released, which contain eps. 1-20.  Volume 6 is due to be released on 8/26 (next week) with eps. 21-24, and vol.7 is due to be released on 10/28 with eps.25-28.  This means that the whole series will probably be 9 volumes long to get all 37 episodes, and the final release will probably be around February '09 (though no firm date has been set yet that I could find).
