it is a 2006 Trailblazer and will be 3 years old when December comes. I know it will not be worth the end lease price. Is it unheard of for the salesperson to renegioate according to market price?

  1. Make them an offer.  The worst that can happen is that they say No.  Since SUV's are a glut on the market at this point, you may well score.

  2. It depends which company leased you the vehicle. If it was a small leasing company, I would definitely propose a deal with a solid offer at market value. They should take the offer because they know they will not be able to get any more at auction. If it is GM lease then it would be difficult. They have to justify the loss by having multiple bids on the vehicle and ensuring they receive the highest bid.

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers
