I currently have the following computer:

AMD Athlon 64 Processor

Radeon X1650 Graphics

320 GB Hard Drive

1 GB RAM

Windows XP SP2 32 bit.

I want to update my graphics card to ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2, or something similiar, because my current graphics card is pretty old. I also think to add more RAM maybe 2GB more. So the question is - will a new graphics card work fine with my current system? Wont there be any problems, like too slow processor, etc? When i add more RAM and install new graphics card will the games like Crysis will work in the highest settings?

  2. It all depends on your motherboard. You need to find out what type of slots it has such as PCI Express 1.0, PCI Express 2.0, PCI Express x16, etc.

The diagram in the link I just gave you shows what they look like, but it doesn't show what the PCI Express 2.0 looks like. You will have to google image search that.

One you find the correct type of slot your motherboard has, find the graphics card for it that supports that slot.

Also make sure your power supply can power the graphics card you are planning to put in
