I want to buy sony play station 3 or xbox360

which is the good? what is price in india, pal or nset which is better. can i play fake cd. what is choosing criteria? please explain, thanks

both are good and the same only  ps3 has blu-ray graphics(which is better) and the xbox 360 has hd .

people tell that the xbox 360 is cheaper than the ps3 BUT ACTUALLY NOT! when we buy the ps3 it comes with everything wifi,blu-ray system etc....... for $350(RS.25,000) and the xbox 360 ($300)does not come with the xbox live and the hd system you will have to buy it separate which is xbox live $50(RS.3,000) AND THE HD SYSTEM: $100(RS.6,000) so that's $450(RS.30,000) that's rubbish a 20gb xbox 360! can be $450(RS.30,000) you shuld buy the ps3 you can buy the ps3 in inorbit mall (malad) or on ebay

Don't listen to the 2 above. The PS3 is the superior console. Notice how they give no reasons at all why the 360 is better? They are Fanboys. Only say 360 cuz they know no better.

These are only a few of the technical advantages that the PS3 has over the 360. I am at work, and do not really have the time to list them all. Don't worry, I am sure someone will!!

PS3 cannot be modded (yet) to support "fake" cds, I am not sure of the pricing in India, as I am in Canada. The below link, will take you to a chart that explains the differences between the PAL and NTSC versions. The chart is located about 1/4 of the way down the page.

I just made a similar buying decision and bought the ps3. I would recommend it over the xbox360. The xbox360 is already having issues with games as to its choice of storage medium. They use the limited DVD format whereas the ps3 uses bluray. The game Rage will be made for both systems and will be on 2-3 DVDs on x360 and 1 bluray on ps3. The developer has stated that the graphics will not be nearly as good as the ps3 version.

Also, the x360 has additional hidden costs and is more expensive. The ps3 has larger hard drives (that are replaceable with any laptop drive and aren't a ripoff like x360's proprietary drive), has wi-fi built in (xbox charges $100 for theirs), built in rechargeable batteries that charge by connecting to the ps3, of course a built in Hi-Def drive (bluray), free online ($50/year for x360), and the superior bluetooth built in vs 360's infra-red (you can use your bluetooth headset for your cell phone). All these add on to the price tag of the x360.

Plus, the ps3 is technologically more powerful (see links) and has some stellar exclusive games.

the ps3 costs sum whr arround 24000 rs in india.

staying in india ps3 is the best bet.

you will easily find games of ps3 all over. but xbox games are not readily available everywhere.

Sum of the latest and best games that will only be available on the ps3 are GTA I V  and God of war III.

And yes ps3 Cds are universal there is no pal, ntsc difference.

ps3 can also play ps2 games.

Since they both are 400$ i sugest an xbox 360 these are fun and good for accesories better graphics i would buy one
