  1. It depends a lot on your source for the video. If you have a high quality cable box that has a digital audio out it is worth it to get a surround system like the sony bravia. Sony makes great acoustical equipment and in my opinion is every bit as good as the audiophile stuff. You can find great deals on Bravia setups and a cool video here:

  2. I have been using Marantz speakers and amps for years (so has everybody in my family) and they work great. I have had no problems. My amp is the SR5200, it is outdated though.

Never buy an all-in-one package, they are usually low quality and aren't worth it.

  3. Your better off picking up some separates for a close price.

A JBL SC145.5 speaker system with a Pioneer receiver would be a close price, less if you bought it online refurbished, and would be substantially better sound quality.

Sony make great technology and great TV's, but their speakers, particularly the all in one units, leave much to be desired.

  4. I bought a sony bravia setup last christmas, and instantly traded it in for an Onkyo ht-sr800.  The sony didnt stand up to the onkyo for sound, capabilities, or price.  Look into Onkyo before buying.  Trust me, I've been there.

  5. If you want it and feel good why don't you choose it ,you may find more here.
