I was just wondering whether it is worth buying without the internet or e-mail.

Many Thanks

  1. I know as far as Cingular/Att you do have to have a data package. I beleive they start at 20.00 for limited and 30.00 for unlimited service a month. Personally I wouldn't get it if you didn't want to pay the extra because well then you can't use the features you bought your phone for. Unless you are one of the people who want it as a status icon but if thats the case then sure you can talk on it and send text and even pay as you go internet but the pay as you go internet is a total rip off. However you can do that on a cheaper phone.

  2. Not as long as you're in range of a wireless router.  When you are, your calls are also free since they go through the internet.

    Otherwise, you gotta pay.
