  1. Twin tip skis are shaped skis, last I checked.  Shaped skis are usually purchased in length between your chin & nose, depending on your weight & skiing ability.  My teenagers say that twin tips are usually a little shorter because its easier to do tricks.  Depending on your skiing ability and weight, I'd guess about 160cm should do it, but go to a reputable ski shop and ask the usually very knowledgeable staff their opinion.

  2. they can be any lenght but i recommend anywhere from 175 to 185. try to get close to 178 cm. then again it depends on how well you can handle them, the core of the ski, ect. What skis you looking at?

go with 174 cm unless you've never tried twin tips before, nor been able to do tricks. if you have lesser ability in that area go with 169 cm. Trust me I know  a lot about skiing, and my brother works in a ski shop.

  3. I would recommend 165-170. Longer if you're more advanced, shorter if you're less experienced.

  4. usually skis should be a little shorter than you.  skis around 170cm would be the right size for you.

  5. it depends. Most people like there skis shorter than them but personally i like mine bigger. If you are planing to do spins on them then id go with a 170 or 175. But if you ski more in the back country get them at 180
