i would like to buy violin to my nephew who is 8 years old , anybody can help me to find a good site to buy it online with good price? and how shall i choose it ?

You may want to try a site like musicalmart.net. They have very nice beginner violins starting at about $50. We bought one for our daughter from there and she has had it since she has had it for about 3 years with absolutely no problems. They also have a useful sizing guide for helping you to determine the violin size that is best for your child. I will include that link in the source list below. The sites that were recommended already have violins that are in the hundreds and even thousands of dollars range. I would personally stay away from that when it comes to finding a violin for a beginner especially when the beginner is 8 years old. The violins offered at musicalmart are nice and come with a 1 year warranty and everything needed to get started, there is really no sense in spending a thousand dollars for one when you can start your child out with one for fifty bucks. The best thing to do is go to a local music store and take your nephew with you. Your nephew will have to size the instrument meaning make sure the istrument fits him. Small children need half or quarter size instruments but the nice thing about music stores is most dealers have upgrade programs. However, if you don't have access to a dealer WWBW.com is a good site. You can also Check Ebay.com. DO NOT under any circumstance by a FIRSTACT instrument or any other violin from Walmart/costco,ect.
