  1. Don't try it with improvised tools.

That old head is likely to be tight.

    You'll just chew things up.

You ll need to grip both the old head and that pipe it's mounted to.

Put too much torque on that pipe, loosen a connection in the wall,

and you've bought yourself all the trouble you can handle.

  2. do you have a crescent wrench?  How about a neighbor with tools?

You might be able to rig 2 screwdrivers on either side of the nut and hold on tight while "wrenching to the left".

There really is no other way to loosen the fitting without a somewhat decent tool.  You'll end up spending way too much frustrating time.

  3. Grip it with a rubber glove.

  4. A pair of pliers will work but you could try a damp washcloth and alot of muscle. It should'nt be on there that tight anyway.

  5. go to lowes and buy a wrench

  6. Try wrapping a belt around it with something flat and long for leverage

  7. How about a pliers ?  Or you can try to use heavy duty RUBBERBANDS - they are great grippers and if it's not too tight it might work.

  8. Use your teeth!

  9. we didnt even needm tools when we put ours in ! i dunno wut kind you got

  10. lol just go invest in a wrench! Or ask one of your friends to borrow one.

  11. Bugger!  What a bummer!
