I want to change my name??

I want to change my name because my name sounds black but I'm completely white. I've always been embarrassed by my name and I hate it. I just don't know what to change my name to. I'm going into high school and I want a normal name. If I get a name I like before school starts is there a way I can tell someone at the school to change my name on the charts because it's what I want to go by? Any name suggestions would be great. And how I can get the school to get my new name on their rosters.

  1. Gianna :)

Pronouced like Bryana or Kyana, but with a G.

  2. try www.babynamesworld.com, they have tons of names. You can search by starting letter, origin, meaning, and all that good stuff.

  3. depends what your name is???

  4. It depends on which state you live in, but you may be able to change it through the department of vital statistics with the signatures of your parents.  Some states let you do it one time without going through the courts.  Otherwise you can pay for the filing fee and forms and do it through the courts its around 100 dollars but you need your parents approval on this if your under 18.  Just look up your states rcw and then look up forms with name changes.

  5. I have a name for you, what about Tayla or Tennile.

  6. Instead of getting your name changed you could just combine part of your first and middle name. If you can't get anything good from combining them then you could just go by a nickname from your first name.

Or you could pick a totally new name: Elizabeth, Alyssa, Natasha, Natalie and Sophie are some pretty but normal names.

When you enroll in school they usually ask for your given name and the name you go by.

    Good Luck :)

  9. What is your name at the moment?

    What year were you born?

You could look up the most popular names from that year and find one thats not 1st, but in the top 100 so it isnt too unusual.

e.g. Just search "Most Popular baby names of 1993"

For example my sister is fourteen and her best friend was born with the name; Stormi-Aiyra. She couldn't stand it and before she went into high school she changed it, to Samantha-Alexis. The 5th & 18th most popular names of 1994, the year she was born.

Oh, and you just call the school and when your medical and school fees and forms get handed in, write your new name.

  10. whatever you change your name to, just DON'T, please DON'T change it to Kevin Stone. That name is despicable! I don't like Kevin Stone he is a prick!! >:o

  11. Well, it would help if we first knew what your name is, so that we will know what you want to stay away from...

  12. Hey my name sounds British and I ain't one! Been there change my mind the last second. So what h**l is your name, sister?

  13. to get it changed officially at school youd have to legally change it which you cant do by yourself until your 18, on the first day you could ask the teachers to call you something else but thats obviously no guarantee they will or will remember to
