I want to change my number in yahoo messenger?

You need to first go to this site and

They tell you that you need to first  add new device(even if the same) and change your number

Then you delete the old

Go to the My Mobile Yahoo! Mobile home page.

Click Get Started Now.

Sign in or sign up.

Provide your phone information (10-Digit Phone Number, Wireless Carrier, and Phone Manufacturer) then click Continue to Step 2.

Select your phone model and click Continue to Step 3.

Verify the information that you entered and click Continue to Step 4. Note that your phone information is stored in your My Mobile page.

Click Done to save your phone information.

Now select the device/number you no longer want

to use and you have changed your number

If you are wanting to use yahoomessenger Go thru setup again

Now you go to messenger

Open Mesenger

Messenger(menu)

>>>Preferences

>>>>General tab

>>>EDIT MOBILE

respond to the 5 digit number and your mobile is set up on Messenger

you mean yr phone number??

go to messenger menu(on the left top)->my contacts detail -> under the phone number box you can change them..
