I want to change my screen resolution from 1024x768 to 1152x864 but monitor shown 'Input not supported',why?

  1. may be your video card does not support the resolution which you have set.Check that.........


  2. Either your monitor does not support 1152x864 at all or it does not support it at the refresh rate you have selected. First, try going into the Monitor tab of the Display properties dialog (found under Settings tabs->Advanced button) and set the refresh rate lower than it currently is (e.g., from 75 Hz to 70 Hz). Hit OK to apply that refresh rate and then try changing the resolution as you did before.
