I want to change the category of my group from adult to the subcategory "Footwear" within the Adult category.

Question

When I first set-up my group I thought that I had chosen the subcategory "Footwear" within the Adult category. I would like to change my group from the Adult category to the Adult subcategory "Footwear". The path of the "Footwear" subcategory is:

Top > Romance & Relationships > Adult > Fetishes > Clothing > Footwear

you have to send in this form, and include your groups URL and the category/ sub category you'd want it in. yahoo generally changes it withing 24 hrs

Since your group is already in the Adult category, you can change the sub-category easily if you have not already recategorized it.  If you have already changed it one time (the limit), you will need to use the Yahoo groups help form to get Yahoo staff to change it for you.  

This is how to recategorize it:

Sign in to the group and click on Management.

Underneath "Group Settings", click on "Description & Appearance".

Scroll down to "Category" and click "Edit".

Now work through the subcategories that you have in the path already. When you finally get to where you want your group to be, Click on "Put my group here".

(If you can't see the Edit button, you’ve already recategorized your group.)
