I want to change the hood on my 1999 Dodge Durango to a lower hood, is there such a hood?

I would like to lower the hood on my Durango, but I have not been able to find a lower hood, I have found hoods with air intake vents and rams but not a lower hood. Figured with a lower hood I might be able to get a bit better fuel mileage.

There is no such thing as a lower hood. If you are after a lower profile on your hood you will need to remove it and channel a section out of it yourself. Before you attempt this you need to take some measurements and make sure that the inner structure of the hood won't interfear with anything.

If you get a lower hood, how will you align the hood with your fenders?  Besides, you're very limited with what you can do due to the height of the front end components ( rad, condenser, upper rad support, etc. ).
