  1. shafts are not the same size . some still use 335 tip . yours may be 350. the best way go have your swing checked on launch monitor . there are to many variables in making a shaft change . if you are hitting your driver to high , you will need a high kick point shaft. so on so forth. most people have stiff shafts in thier drivers , they really should have regular . of all the players with stiff shafts 85% are playing with the wrong shaft . try a friends driver with stiff shaft . many people will by your driver or trade after they see they have the wrong shaft . good luck .

  2. Leave well enough alone and buy a new driver. If you know nothing about shafts, you are only asking for trouble. If you wish a conversion, go to a golf shop which has a resident pro who knows about shafts. Leave the work to the professionals.

  3. you would need to get ur swing speed checked and if it was above 100 mph then you would be advised to get a stiff shaft but anything below would probably better suit a regular flex.

    Hope this helps
