  1. Most computers come with a restore disc that allows you to reformat your hard drive which basically deletes everything except for the software that came with your computer. If you want to save files you'll have to find all the pics/music or whatever you want to save and transfer it onto an external hard drive or a large flash drive. If you don't have those you can start a Gmail account for free which would provide with only 1gb of storage though.

    Once you have your files saved on something other than your computer you can just insert the restore disc and follow the on screen instructions.

  2. You will get gigs back, do this....

    Disk clean-up > more options tab > delete system restore points WAIT untill the ok button returns cuz it takes a while

  3. And let's not forget the beautiful device called a CD :D

    You can usually buy a package of 10 blank CDs for ten dollars or less. You can store on them all your photos and the music you aren't listening too currently, and once you've saved them to the CD make sure to check the CD works on another computer, and delete teh pics/music from your computer ^^

    Alternative: a thumb drive. A bit more expensive, but they seem to be more portable and sturdier, but they can cost more.

  4. something easy;

    click tools on your tool bar

    click delete history

    do each section or go to the bottom and delete all

  5. First - go to control panel - remove all the softwares that you dont use

    Second  - Internet explorer --> Tools --> Internet options --> delete temporary files

    Third --> search for *.tmp , delete them all.

    4 --> clear recycle bin

    5 --> start moving all the stuff you need to a single folder
