I have two dogs, both very wild. They ran my house and had me and my wife at our wits end. We rescued them from the street, tried to find the owners for months.
We went ahead and hired Bark Busters on the east side of Tucson.
I am just delighted with how they taught us how to get control. Our dogs are much happier, not in trouble all the time either.
They had to use different techniques on each dog. One was very timid so loud noises spooked her. The other was very brave, never showed any signs of submission. He was a strong willed dog and still is! But now he listens. The trainer worked with them one at a time, showing us what to do. He showed us how to use the correct collar, in fact one of the dogs now uses a Halti or Gentle Leader. So they are really flexible and do whats best for the dogs and us.
My dogs use to charge the front door barking and barking, now they sit and wait for my friends and family to come in. Its so nice!!!!
The trainer has backed way off on his hands on because the dogs were starting to look at him as the leader. He explained that if he kept handling the dogs they might stop listening to us.
Its going great,that's all I can say! No harsh training or anything bad.
We are in our 60's so we have seen many things in our life. This system is fair and honest.
Its safe to use them, All I can speak for is the Tucson area because I never used them in any other city.
Now he told me every Bark Buster gets the same training!
