I want to compete in the 2012 Olympics for track. Do you know where to go to sign up for the trials?

you cant just 'sign up' you have to go through all the local tournaments and usually are selected or if you have a good enough resume` you might be able to apply.

I am not sure how it works in your country, but you would need to do a time (very fast) to qualify for the Open National Tournament in 2012, which would act as the trials.  

It may not work exactly like that in the USA/your country, but it would be something along those lines.

You have to qualify for the trials. Probably by winning in your local events.
