  1. better start training hard , and look for some competitions in your event and compete in those, so you can get an understanding what need to be done to be successful, then look for your countries olympic trials

  2. get more good training by good coach.

    Good Luck!!

  3. Be one of the best in the world at some sport.

Or move to a very small country where competition is lower.  But you still have to meet qualifying standards.

Start by becoming a state or national level competitor at your best sport.

  4. My friend, my advice get a good coach, train hard and in 4 years you will be in London 2012.

    Good luck

  5. If you're 12 you could go live in China and say you are 16 lol

  6. Train Train Train

  7. So do I! All I can tell you is to train like nobody's business. Sometimes in certain sports, like skating, you can join clubs... if you become EXTREMLY good you can get a coach... competing is helpful too, as it helps you ain experience ect....and if you're good enough you may pass the qualifying rounds and be able to compete in London! Good luck!

  8. Give me a break buddy.  No one can just "decide" to compete in the Olympics.  Your question is a slap in the face of the thousands and thousands of Olympians that have dedicated the best years of their lives for a once in a lifetime chance.  These athletes have trained for years and years, practicing countless hours, sustaining innumerable injuries and setbacks.

You don't say what sport you have "decided" to compete in, but unless you have some untapped, unrealized athletic potential, have access to world class training and have the desire, commitment and mental capacity to devote yourself for the next four years everyday, I say get yourself a comfortable lazy boy and watch 2012 on your TV.

Don't be fooled by the allure of the gold.  The gold medal is elusive to even the world's best athletes.

  9. get off the computer and start training NOW!
