I want to completely disable search history feature, not just the history?

How do I do that for Internet Explorer and Google

Not just the history, I want the feature GONE

If you use the yahoo toolbar for example there is a button on the toolbars Settings. Click on that and uncheck the "Remember Recent Searches".
