I want to connect my desktop to my 5.1 channel surround sound.?

I have a soundblaster live 5.1 card and I want to connect it either a single 1/8" plug, two RCA cables, or a digital coaxial cable.

Those are my only options in terms of inputs on my receiver.

How can I make it work

  1. they have sound cards that have the digital coaxial on them. So you'll have to get a sound card for your PC.


  2. digital is your only choice since the others are analog stereo, not analog 5.1
