Do you have any suggestions on how this is possible? Can I do it myself?

  1. easy use a spirit level on th rail, the holders will be one up one down but the rail true.

  2. i would attach a little wedge of wood to the wall where you want to attach the rail then s***w the rail to the wood. the wedge should take away the slant of the wall so you will have a straight surface for he rail. however you will need a plumb line and a protractor to measure the correct angle of the wood you will need then cut it with a mitre saw

  3. Get an adjustable pole fitting and fit it.

  4. Cut the rail, and on the side that the wall is slanted, cut it so that it slants with the wall.

  5. Put in a sturdy block of wood on the slanted wall and then drill a pole-sized hole into it horizontally at the height(s) you require.

use a standard pole fixing on the vertical wall.

  6. If the back wall is straight.  Get one that attaches to that wall.
