I've been a bad breath sufferer for years. It's gotten to the point that I rarely talk to people, and I'm already shy and introverted anyone. My mom says it doesn't smell but she always lies to me about lots of stuff and it's annoying. I've had people even do the gum thing. My own family did this. One time I was getting ready to be church server and the one of the priest walked up to me with others watching and put a stick of gum in his mouth. My only boyfriend...ex now. Told me I had a distinct odor in my mouth but after dental work it was gone.

  1. There are a number of things that can cause bad breath including medical problems and diet.  Brushing and flossing regularly is probably the best way to avoid bad breath. Also consider what your diet consists of.   Certain foods are highly aromatic.  Look into it.  And brush your tongue too when you brush, since bacteria lurk there too.  Use a good mouthwash. If this doesn't help then see a doctor.

Of course I am a dog and I always have alpo on my breath.

  2. You should talk to a dentist, maybe you have a gum diesease.

  3. Maybe you have a stomach problem .. that can cause bad breath... use mouthwash.. or there is some gum disease .eat a bit of parsley.. that's good to freshen the breath as well.. you could only maybe smell of garlic if you eat lots of garlic or of onions.. or if you smoke your breath could smell of cigarettes.. that's possible. if you don't do either.  Well you say it's gone now. bad teeth can cause bad breath so if you do have oral hygiene in the mornintg and in the evening you should be fine... x*x Don't let this make you a recluse.. talk to the people.. if you do proper oral hygiene morning and evening that includes rinsing well with moutwash.. then if your teeth are ok.. you don't have bad breath... xx

  4. hey that is just terrible. your family sounds like theyre jerks =(

    ok

remember to keep your mouth clean. and drink LOTS of water. bad breath comes from bacteria fermentation in the intestinal tract from foods that contain yeast, grease, cheese,  etc (unhealthy foods). i recommend you try mercurius 30X (its a homeopathic medicine).  3 pellets 3 times a day until the bad breath starts to fade.

  5. I feel so bad for you.  I haven't had this particular problem, but have had friends that have.  I never knew what to really say to them.  Most of the time, I just tried to get past the smell and continue to be friends with them.  I know that was probably not the best way to handle it, but it's hard to be harsh on people, at least for me it is.

If you know you have a bad breath problem, continue to brush your teeth often, floss, use Listerine (bacteria killing stuff) mouthwash and visit your dentist twice a year for cleaning.  Always have breath mints or gum with you   I'm sorry, it's the only advice I can think of.

    Good luck!
