We already have an eco club. But I want to start something that makes a difference in the enviornment, not something like "trading card games club"

  1. You should probably ask your teachers if they want to be a teacher sponsor (or whatever they're called at your school). The teacher will probably advertise the club like by writing it on their chalkboard or something, and will stop by at meetings and whatnot.

You should also ask at the office what you can do to make a club. They might tell you that you need a certain number of people to be interested in it to make a club, and you might have to get people to sign a list or something.

I'm not really sure what the process is at your school, just sharing some tips.

Good luck! I think this is a great idea.

  2. look at other schools and check out their clubs, ask other students, look in the community...

  3. Oh Yay! I am sooo excited someone asked this.  Jane Goodall created an international program called Roots and Shoots.  The volunteer program makes it so that the students dont rely on the teacher or parent leader. The group is completely student run.  Your group can do a bunch of little projects, or big projects that take a while.  You should try and do one program to help humanity, one to help animals and one for the environment.  Check out www.rootsandshoots.org
