  1. i doubt you are good enough because you are asking random people. but u havnt said how long and what styles you trained. anyone can make their own fighting style and say it works "on the street" but you sound like you are still in school so its more like on the playground. and anyone who can punch or kick will win a fight at school. go find a very high rank instructor who has started their own style and see what they think.

BTW its not easy to get people to start a new style.

  2. Maybe post some flyers saying effective self defense for women and children.

  3. Well what martial arts have you studied? and as for your idea of creating a martial art thats practical for a street situation instead of as a sport there already is one, its called Krav Maga.

  4. I suggest you open your own school  If your students are very successful, then that will give you some credence.  After that, you can try to go to other schools as a guest instructor.  If those school appreciate your style, you are well on your way.  You could then start to have competitions between the schools that follow your style.  If thsoe attract a following, great.

Understand that each of these steps is almost certain to fail.  That's OK.  Only the strong can make a new style fo self defense.

  5. Any good street fighter will tell you that black-eyes are the only way to learn about your own weak points.

Find out what those weak points are , and compensate for them.

If the techniques that you develop are different from traditional fighting styles then you might just be on to something.

  6. If you can't answer the questions you posed, then you are far from qualified to create your own style. Really now...

  7. Call it Toemaear Ryu no Bullshitsu. Then make training videos where you try the break a board with your head and when it doesn't break, blame the guy holding it. Continue making training videos for a few years until you're broke. Then join UFC so you can suck professionally.

  8. You have to start out small.  Begin a learning facility where you will teach others your new fighting style.  Advertise around your town/city, telling people how your style will help them in whatever situations it should be used, as well as ask them to join your classes if they wish to learn.  You may want to make some kind of offer, like the first lesson is free, or something along those lines.

Hopefully, if your style is a good one and you teach well, word will spread and more people will join your classes to learn.  After that, who knows how much it will spread.  Your students might teach their friends, and their friends will join, and teach theirs, and then go out and start teach their own classes somewhere else once they've mastered it, and then the same thing happens more and more, and your style becomes one that is widely known and used.

  9. Call it wing chun, brazillian jui-jitsu, and mma.
