I want to darken my factory faded denim w/o using dye. Will washing them w/ dark denim work?

I don't want to use dye in my new washing machine.

Not likely.  Or at least not enough to be noticeable.

Go to the fabric store and buy 2 or 3 yards of navy blue 100% cotton fabric.  Put it in the washer with your denim (cold water, no detergent) and let them soak together for an hour or so, then let the washer complete it's cycle.

Yes dye works with everything

You have to use HOT WATER AND USE HALF THE BOTTLE AND LET IT SOAK FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS and than wash with no laundry detergent.
