I want to decorate my plain black chandelier.....?

with some beads but have no idea where to purchase large black string beads or how to attach to the light. please help! x

  1. it would be beautiful with a strand of white tiny christmas lights hooked to it!!!


  2. Try Woolworth's or other chainstores for costume jewellery - something like imitation jet or black glass necklaces would work well

  3. Costume jewelry shop,,,, first choice.

    Second choice,,,, go to the craft center, and buy your own beads and string them while watching TV.  

  4. Don't know where you live, but some of the large arts and crafts store have tons of options for you.

  5. Try looking in Haberdashery shops, you could use strong glue such as superglue or if the chandelier is metal, then you could use a small amount of solder & a soldering iron.

    Alternatively, go to hobby craft & ask their advise, you'll probably find virtually everything you need there.
