management- under group settings click delete- confirm delete and enter reason for it and click delete

I assume you are owner of the Group, because you must be to delete the Group.  If so, then log in to your Group on the web.  Then click on Management on the left-hand side of the page.  On the right-hand side of the resulting page, you'll see a Delete Group section with a Delete link in it.  Click that link to delete the whole Group.  Note that you can't undo a deletion of a Group, so before you delete the Group, be as sure as you can that you won't change your mind later.
