I want to delete my own messages from yahoo groups

Question

I'd like to delete a whole bunch of my old messages in different yahoo groups, but in some of the groups I found that the "Delete" in the button bar is absent, only the options of Reply and Forward are available.

I thought that you could always delete your own messages, how can I do so if I that option doesn't show in some of my messages?

I haven't seen any new features as an owner to prevent this- when I go to a group I'm a member of I still see on the left when I open a post of mine
