Like for decorations? I think we are going to do it at home. I know the usual stuff like Dora plates, cups, napkins, and cake, but does anyone have any specific decorating ideas that would make the party even cuter?

  2. How about Dora The Explorer balloons? Or maybe Dora wallpaper that u can take out once the party is over?

  3. make an surprise and then get this actor that`s dress up as dora  and all the other charaters and get a  bounce house.

  4. try some appealing hispanic food....

and a  mango drink or banana smoothies....

    PINATAS!!!that would be awsome....

and a dora cake,,, at wegmans at the cake section....they were selling items to make a dora cake....like icing color,...baking pan....etc

  5. You could have your house decorated like jungle or where ever dora the explorer takes place

and if there are any dora songs you can play them for free off nickjr.com and go to the radio section (it's hard to find but keep on looking)

  6. sure have all the little girls dress up as Dora and if any boy have them dress up as Diego.

  7. You could have Dora-themed party favors, just little trinkets, and also make the decorations Dora-themed. Dora plates, cups, napkins, wallpaper, balloons, etc. Also, you can play free Dora music from Nickjr.com off the radio. If you could get some sort of a Dora doll, you could have that holding a balloon. And Dora or Boots pinatas. And maybe some kid-friendly Hispanic food. Like, Mango stuff, or maybe bananas for Boots. Hope this helps, and that the party goes well.

  8. If you are doing it at home make sure to have a Dora video or two going in the background.

Streamers in Dora colors( purple, pink, orange )

Dora stickers, balloons, a picture of Dora on the front

Check out the website below for more ideas and I hope you all have a wonderful day :)

  9. Get Dora The Explorer....

    Ballons

    Party Bags

    Banners

    Confetti

    Cups

    Plates

    Mask

    Badges

    Candles

    Cake

    Hats

    etc

  10. Dora is incomplete without Boots and Swiper.

Talk to any of the parent to dress thheir kids as Boots or Swiper.

Make purple Back Packs with a Map.

The theme is great... it juust need lots of time and preperations to make it a successful theme.

I also think that its sbetter to have this theme later when ur kid will have her 2nd or 3rd or 4th bday. Bday girl and all the guests will understand the theme more and u can put some great games related to Dora during the party. Right now its stoo early for any theme party coz 1 year old doesnot understand anything.

and some stores you can send in picture and they will make you a cake with that picture on it so maybe like dora in one corner and diego in another and ur daughter in the other corner and than idk find someone go in the 4th corner

    good luck !

    happy birthday to ur daughter

the kids dont have to dress up as the character just tell them to wear like an orange or purple shirt or some dora like colors

  12. Add to the purple, pink and orange streamers and balloons with some cheap plastic tablecloths ($2 shop) in the same Dora colours.

If you have a Dora, put her on a chair at the front door holding a balloon - to welcome guests.

Here's a great Dora cake idea:

Here are some great Dora printables for the kids to do at the party or take home in their party bags.

Hope the party is a success.

  13. I did one for a friend  one time.

What we did was find cheap little  back packs for the kids. and put a few safe toys in them. Things that dora would have.  So that when each child left that had their own special dora the explorer bag of amazing things.  The kind she had in hers.

They didnt have to be real back pack. just a grocery bag with straps  cut from another bag, glued down the back of it to look like one.

    * we were able to find the cheap plastic backpacks that at the dollar stor.) It just depends on how many kids there are going to be, To know what kind of things you want to do for her.
