  1. weird i'm doing a paper on that! maybe just about the rise in average temperatures, or the melting ice caps, or the effect it is having on normal weather patterns all over the world!

  2. Create a sealed glass enclosed box with a port you can open.

Put this box out outside where the sun can shine upon it during the day.

Slowly increase the ratio of greenhouse warming gases. Measure the increase in temperature over time.

To be most effective you'd need to wait a least a years time to show increase in the corresponding time periods.

Shorter times may show some results however they would not be as strong as proof as if you waited for a longer period of time.

    Hope that Helps  : )

  3. Do a paper on what a con job it is.

  4. I would say go to sites like Care2.com and Wikipedia to start brainstorming (there are more links on it at the bottom of the Wikipedia page also).

Here are a few ideas I came up with:

-- The ways your community could do better with protecting the environment and living in greener ways.

-- Create an imaginary town that lives completely green.

-- Report about celebrity who are very involved in global warming issues.

-- Compare and contrast how things were better or worse a hundred years ago.

--  How animals are suffering because of global warming.

-- What the world will be like in 100 or 200 or 500 years if we don't start taking better care of the planet.

--  Why people are "ignoring" the signs and/or getting them motivated and aware enough to live differently.

-- Write about websites dedicated to the environment and green living

-- Write about countries that are most dedicated to global warming and list ways they can be good role models for other countries.

  5. If you want to throw a curve, look up some of the papers on the effect of GW on the ozone layer and write about that.  It's quite counter-intuitive but the consequences are scary.

Hint:  Use Google Scholar, unless the academic prose is too dense for you (it's worth fighting through if you can, you always learn something).

  6. The effect on the oceans. The warmer the water the less oxygen it holds and the less life it can sustain and the effects on marine ecosystems. Eventually hydrogen sulphide builds up and the oceans become poisonous as has happened in the geologic past -  when the oil deposits now being exploited were laid down, incidentally.
