  1. If...you would be at least one year older (but I would wait until you were at least 17...) and would want to work for at least a month, you could always work as an aupair... You need to organise this will in advance, but there are some good websites where you can register free (as an aupair) and with a bit a of luck you find a nice host family, you will improve your Spanish and have some fun!

  2. What precisely do you mean by a work week? Is it part of your studies? Does it have to be a certain type of work?

A week seems awfully short - almost worth just coming to Valencia and enjoying the fiestas at Fallas. That is one of the best festivals in Spain - an amazing event. It runs from now till the big night of bonfires on the 19th of March - just before Easter this year!

There may also be work then as it is the height of tourism in the city center. Don't be put off by learning the language - immersion in the culture can make you learn quickly - I know from experience.

I would suggest staying in the house of a family as that can make things alot easier. Maybe you have contacts through your schools spanish teacher or the local parish church. Don't be afraid to ask even if you are not offically associated...

Above all go for it. These first experiences of travel are the best. Between these exams and university/working life you have probably the only free moment to do this in your life.

  3. sorry if the truth hurts, but a 15 year old with little knowledge of the Spanish language doesn't have much of a chance to find a good paying job....people who speak English and Spanish have a big chance of finding a job but without Spanish forget about it., especially at your age

  4. most Spaniards speak English but I dont think you will get a job for only a week and not at 15 year old.
