  2. Really you need to give country/state details because every country in the world has differing training ideas.

    In Australia there is a pre-apprenticeship course to do through TAFE, then there is the apprenticeship to get into and do, which the theoretical side is once again done through TAFE, one was Kangan TAFE in Melbourne (Victoria) the other Padstow TAFE in (NSW), also available in some form or another at Midland Tafe (WA) Parafield (SA)
