  1. I'm 13 and I volenteer at a humane society. Keep looking.

You can walk dogs for people and petsit.

  2. There are usually elderly or disabled people in your area who may have pets that they can take care of for the most part, but may need help walking them more often, or possibly bathing them, etc.  I would talk to your parents/ guardians and tell them what you would like to do and see what solutions they may have.

You could try contacting your local Senior Citizens Center(s), VFW, etc and see if they may be able to let you come to their facility and have their members bring the pets to the center on such and such day(s) and you can help them there, this way it would alleviate some of the going to a strangers home worry that I know I would have if it were one of my children.

Another idea may be to get your school/ class involved - see if your teacher can think of some way for you to get people and their animals somewhere for your class to help them.

Just a few ideas!  Hope they help just a bit get your idea machine rolling - don't give up, you can find a way to do this if you really want to.

  3. try all the shelters, vets, and even the zoo. Zoo's are always looking for volunteers. :)  Good Luck!

  4. What about local places.

  5. Call other local rescue organizations
