I want to plant flowers that are not "pesticided to death". Can the bees be left alone and thrive?

  1. yes

  2. you can't just buy a hive, set it out on the corner and leave it.... it's not a wild hive, so it will need your attention... so like Granny said, learn how first.... she gave you all the info you'll need to get a start..... and if you're not willing to suit up, get out the smoker, remove some comb and honey and monitor your bee's lives and health, then you don't need to consider having a hive.....it's nice of you to want to and to know that there's a problem.... so if you want to help, plant those flowers!!... a reliable food source is a big help!!!
