I want to do smoky eyes?

Question

i want to do a smoky eye, but i dont know how, my typical eye makeup is light eyeshadow, mascara and white eyeliner...can someone explain how??

You fade out the eye shadow or something... not much help but I'd like to know also...

I do smoky eyes with two products, a kohl eyeliner pencil with a point that’s not all that sharp, and an eye shadow that’s fairly close to the same color, although lighter.

Line your eyes with the kohl pencil, making sure you go right to the lash line, then smudge it. Some kohl pencils have an end made for this, but you can do it with your fingertip or a Q-tip. Re-apply near the lash line only if it got too light there. Apply eye shadow starting at the edge of the smudged eyeliner and extending away from the eye until you've achieved the look you want. Go easy at first--it's easy to add more, hard to remove what you've applied.

Two tips: One, practice so you've done this a few times before you plan to go out with fabulous smudged eyes. Two, remove your make-up before you go to bed--you can ruin a pillow case with this much eye make-up.

it's basically all smudging. =]

you need eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, and clean makeup brushes to blend.
