I want to do some dirt jumping on my bmx but the only place i can do it has sand everywhere will it hurt bmx??

my dad said the sand will jst wash off with the hosepipe but wont tht make my bike parts rust?

well with the falling problem, what i do in that situation is i wear gloves and kee and elbow pads because you usually fall on your kneew or elbows. With the sand problem yes hitting your bike with the hose will speed up rusting but there is and anti rust that you can buy at home depot or your locall bike shop and it stoppes your bike from rusting and its relativly cheap. well good luck
