  1. It's sad that doing good these day has to be for something you get out of it... Yet, I digress, if you want to help and you don't want to get your hands to dirty you can help me get the word out about mental health and teach other too while using humor.   LOL

I might even be able to get you a letter form our non-profit drop-in center... all you will need to do? Help me build traffic to the website and do what your doing now...lol

  3. volunteer in a day care center you'll find out whether you like working with kids.  Or volunteer at a local hospital bringing water to people in beds, you'll find out about health care professions.

  4. try school district, convalescent homes, hospitals, churches,

    good luck

ask your college counselor as well...

  5. How about volunteering for the blind and visually impaired. either adult or childrens is okay. good luck.

  6. If you're not sure about what you want to do, try going through the City or the municipality.  If you live in a bigger city they often have a department associated with recreation or whatever, that coordinates volunteers.  You can get a better idea of what is available to do as a volunteer and they can help you figure out what you might want to do.  Also - start asking around, see what other people do for volunteering.  Do you like kids?  Animals?  Being outside?  Seniors?  The arts?  Whatever, there's usually something you can do to volunteer.
