I want to do something special...?

Question

for my mom.

She will be a first time grandma (besides my stepson) once we have our baby.

Granted I'm not due until Feb. but I just want to know what other people think.

She's helped us out a lot, and I'm very close to her. I want to do something special for her since she will be a new grandma.

I was thinking something like a "grandma shower"

Getting her friends, and our family together for a small party or going for dinner/lunch.

I just want to reconigze her since she is so excited.

Does any one have any ideas? Or has anyone done something like this before?

((sorry... kinda confusing, I'm pretty scatter brained right now =] ))

thats sounds like a good idea. Or you could name i babys middle name after the grandma?
