Question:

I want to do something that deals with athletic injuries or dealing with the body science..any suggestions?

ive heard lots of people talk about how chiropractic is dead and how physical therapy is too much work...is this true, if so do u have any other suggestions for a field of business i could go into?

  1. While physical therapy has a competitive entrance and has a 6-7 year time span, it is definitely worth the work if this is really what you want to do.  Athletic training is also a good choice...although the job market has more competition, its not as academically competitive.  Many ATCs later go on to become PTs.

I don't think chiropractic is dead as long as you specialize in a particular field like sports injuries.  The chiropractor that I go to also does soft tissue work to break up scar tissue from athletic injuries. Most top pro athletes have a soft tissue specialist, it's a must these days.  My chiro does ART (active release therapy) this is growing field and if I was younger, I'd look into being an ART practitioner myself.  Best of luck in finding your perfect fit - I think you're going in the right direction.
